Tis the season!

Well it has been a while since I have been on here... and not because I have been ignoring the blog but just simply because I have been so busy with all the Christmas and Holiday photos lately plus being 5 months pregnant (its just exhausting) So here is an update!!!

This time of year makes for some great photos both indoors and outdoors. With the air getting crisp it can be a challange to take outdoors photos (which are what I prefer) so occasionally we move indoors for a snapshot or two!

I have had a great past month doing sessions both with families and some amazing boudoir photos (which are awesome Christmas gifts for that man in your life ladies!! *wink wink*) Here are some of my favorites from the past month! :)

L.O.V.E.

I was honored to have the chance to shoot one of my good friend's wedding a few weeks back. The wedding took place in the remote Rocky Mountain Forest of Colorado. They said thier vows on a rock in the river and it was so sureal. The couple is so in love and by the photos you can tell they are absolutely struck by each other. Congratulations to the couple!!!!

Junior Eagles First Win!!

The Junior Eagles had their first game today and ended it in fashion with a win!! Got some great action shots of the players! Love taking these types of photos... being a former athlete I love looking back on my days playing in Elementary, High School, and College and seeing the photos my father took. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them!! GO EAGLES!!!

Little Miss Willow's Big 4th

I had the honor of spending a day at Lollypop Park with a 4 year old princess Willow! Her Birthday was all she could ask for! I love photographing children's parties because you never know what you fill see!

We even were suprised by a rogue child not from the party who sang Happy Birthday, blew Willow's candles out, then ran off!!! All caught on camera for a priceless moment she can revisit later!

Ms. Vixen

I had the opportunity to do a boudior shoot this weekend and had a great time with an incredible woman. She was a delight to work with and such a classy woman. This mom of 6 (yes I said 6) was looking to have a shoot done that made her feel confident, sexy, and powerful and I think we accomplished just that.  The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver made the perfect backdrop for the shoot!

Birthday wishes....

This week I had the pleasure of shooting a birthday pool party which was so much fun! KB was turning 10 years old and invited all her best friends to a party. Her wish was to spend her birthday with everyone she cared about and it came true. The rain and clouds cut the outdoor fun short but the kids made the best of it.

I absolutely love shooting events like these! Catching all the moments of life as they happen! Had a great time.... and the cake was delicious!
