Junior Eagles First Win!!

The Junior Eagles had their first game today and ended it in fashion with a win!! Got some great action shots of the players! Love taking these types of photos... being a former athlete I love looking back on my days playing in Elementary, High School, and College and seeing the photos my father took. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them!! GO EAGLES!!!

Little Miss Willow's Big 4th

I had the honor of spending a day at Lollypop Park with a 4 year old princess Willow! Her Birthday was all she could ask for! I love photographing children's parties because you never know what you fill see!

We even were suprised by a rogue child not from the party who sang Happy Birthday, blew Willow's candles out, then ran off!!! All caught on camera for a priceless moment she can revisit later!

I had the opportunity to do a boudior shoot this weekend and had a great time with an incredible woman. She was a delight to work with and such a classy woman. This mom of 6 (yes I said 6) was looking to have a shoot done that made her feel confident, sexy, and powerful and I think we accomplished just that.  The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver made the perfect backdrop for the shoot!

Birthday wishes....

This week I had the pleasure of shooting a birthday pool party which was so much fun! KB was turning 10 years old and invited all her best friends to a party. Her wish was to spend her birthday with everyone she cared about and it came true. The rain and clouds cut the outdoor fun short but the kids made the best of it.

I absolutely love shooting events like these! Catching all the moments of life as they happen! Had a great time.... and the cake was delicious!

Big days in a small world...

Being a mom I have found that photos are SOOOOOOOOOOO important. Today was my lil princess' first day of school. Kindergarten that is. And before the teachers decided it was time for the crazy lady with the big camera to leave I snapped some photos to help remember this special day!

Think back... first day of school. How much fun to start a whole new era in your life!!! Such an important day for children... and mom's & dad's. So as I wipe tears off my face I'll keep editing. :)

So the whole time I was taking these photos that song... (see above)... was playing in my head!!! What a blast kids can have with a bucket of water, some soap, and lots of friends! La Gente Junior Eagles hosted a fundraising carwash for the boy's jearseys and not only made lots of money for a great cause but also had a fun teambuilding experience. So happy I was blessed with the chance to capture these memories!
